As many of you know I am serving at an all-girls orphanage in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I have had the pleasure of serving over forty-five beautiful girls. However, throughout my time here I have had to say goodbye to three of our girls. Due to government regulations when the girls turn 18 they are required to move out. With many of them not having a place to go, Casa San Miguel provides a safe and affordable home for the girls to transition into the responsibilities of adulthood.
To my dearest Katie,
Thank you for everything you have done this year. We are all are beyond blessed to have someone like you in our lives. Thank you for always having such a positive attitude, continuously striving to be the best you can be and challenging all of us to do the same. You have provided all of us with so much love and support and we can't thank you enough for every bit of it. You will forever be remembered here and we wish you the very best in whatever it is that God has in store for you next.

Here are a number of small clips of the girls and all the fun we have on a daily basis.
For the next year I am volunteering as a Salesian Lay Missioner in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I am living in an orphanage of 45 girls and amongst the religious community of the Daughters of the Divine Savior from El Salvador.
